The Weekend

This weekend has been really good so far! Friday I went to my boyfriends place with a biscuit dough! In Denmark there is a big tradition of baking cookies and biscuit in the christmas time. We got so many different ones and baking them makes the whole house smell amazing! In France you have nothing! No christmas cookies no christmas spirit. So I have decided to change that! We baked some honey cookies and then we went out for drinks. Saturday was a very chill day and in the evening we went to a concert at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées for the Ovatorio de Noël. I have seen Bachs beautiful piece of music every year since I was little, so for me this is just one of the best christmas traditions. After the concert we went to a restaurent, where we had dinner next to the opera singers from the concert. And today I had a brunch with my boyfriend, his dad and his cute little sister. Today I´m starting the christmas gift shopping! I need to buy like a million gifts, so I´m already pretty late!

The Best Day

Today I had the best day! My boyfriend decided not to go to work, so we spend the day together, shopping for him, eating lunch watching californication and just enjoying a day together that wasn´t planned!

Statement Jewelry

I love love love statement jewelry! Olivia Palermo is really rocking the trend! I would love to own one of Suzanna Dai´s necklaces! They are gorgeouse!!!! The Gossip Girls Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen are both wearing her jewelry and it´s so pretty! I think that either you wear statment jewelry or nearly invisible jewelry. The one in the middle is just bad! Not pretty at all!!!!

The exhibition was not as good as it could have been!

Fellini´s films are just amazing, they are so beautiful and there are so many

scenes whom are very well known as the classics of cinema! That is why

I don´t understand that there where no really big pictures. There where

a lot of small ones but so small that you had to stick your nose totally

up in the picture. Two years ago Louisiana Modern Museum of Art in Copenhagen

had an exhibition called "Starlight – 100 years of film stills" it was amazing, the photos where in a really good

quality and huge. I would have loved to see the Fellini one like this but I saw

one of my favorite movie scenes of all time.

Tonight I´m going to a exhibition at the Jeu de Paume. I´m very curious about it, it´s photos from Fillinis films, in this weather it´s the only thing to do dream away...

Energy Shot!

So winter is here! Paris is really cold and rainy. I love it when it´s raining or when it´s really, really windy and I´m outside walking. It makes me feel alive! But, my shoes hate it! I don´t have any boots or practical shoes so the ballerinas and high hells are crying whenever I´m going outside.

So I have a plan! First of all I need some boots, but not just any kind of boots I need the perfect pair of boots! It´s the same every year, HELL! It´s just the most hard thing to find...

The other thing I need is a lot of energy, when I don´t get sunlight my energy level just goes so much down! For that I have the best recipe, It´s a energy shot. It got a lot of really good functions: first off all it´s a good alternative to coffee, then there is ginger in it and that helps the body fight all the boring winter diseases and at last the chili and grapefruit speed up the metabolism.

1 apple

2 cm fresh ginger

1 / 2 red chili

1 red grapefruit

ice cubes

Come all ingredients through a juicer. Blend the juice with crushed ice in a blender Pour in glasses and serve immediately.

If I were a shoe, I would be a Christian Louboutin!

I made a big mistake last week, a really big mistake!

I went into Christian Louboutin, a magic place where they got a lot of magic shoes! It´s like cinderella over and over again, every shoe is just fitting magically my feet!

And that is where it all went wrong! I triend on the most perfect pair of shoes... It felt like being in heaven, if I were in a cartoon there would be glitter everywhere around me the moment both shoes where on my feet!

The shoes on the picture are black, but the shoes I tried were a very dark bordeaux with a marine bow! They are perfect! just perfect...

Beverly Hills 90210

When I lived in france last time i bought one of my favorite tv series on dvd. Beverly Hills 90210 the first and second season. Then I could watch the episodes i know so well in french! I think seeing tv is a really good way learning a language!

And now I have started watching it again. It is so funny! and very interesting, many of the things they are wearing are very fashionable again. The California 90´girls are wearing long blazers, hardcore flat boots, sequin dresses, harrem pants and high waisted shorts.

My favorite is Kelly Tailor I´m thinking about getting bangs, what do you think?

Rain in the city of Light

So I moved to Paris, the city of light! Yeah whatever, I can´t reach the electricity people and without the electricity bill you can´t get a bank account, and without a bank account you can´t get a phone and without a phone you can´t get a job and without a job I can´t pay the electricity bill when it finally arrives!

Well anyway I´m really happy! Paris is rainy and cold so I´m cooking a soup now,

Thakoons masterpieces

These shoes are so amazing!!!! I got a blanket from India full of little mirrors, my mom brought it from me when I was little and she had been travelling around India. I have always loved it, the sparkly but elegant way, the tiny mirrors sparkle is really beautiful and that is exactly how Thakoon (my total fashion sweetheart) has managed to make these shoes! They are sparkly and really funky, but the form is so elegant and simple, I love them!

West Side Story

The Royal Danish Opera has this season chosen to play Jerome Robbens West Side Story. I went to see it tonight, with my dad. It was so good! The music was amazing and the costumes, scene and dances where just perfect! The only bad thing I can say is that the ballet version got a happy ending, and I totally prefer when it ends Shakespeare style with the two lovers dying. The other thing that wasn’t so good was that it was to short but that is also a compliment, I was not bored a second!

Let's shoot some pheasants and wear some hats

This weekend I was invited to a old manor for a hunt. The manor is an old building from 1554.

It´s really beautiful and the house is so cozy decorated! Every year there is a hunt where you come saturday night for a dinner. Next morning there is a big breakfest and then everybody go hunting, then there is a big lunch, a hunt again and then thé time!

It was my first hunt! My familie has been doing it a lot but I have never really felt like it, I was really surpriced, it´s so much fun!

Elie Saab and Hermés

When I was in Paris, I went to the last day of Paris Fashion Week! It was so much fun! I went to 2 shows: Elie Saab and Hermés.

The whole fashion week spirit is amazing, everybody are so well dressed, there are all those bloggers and style scouts running around taking pictures and you see the same crew at all the shows. I had a really cute vintage dress on but I got no pictures... maybe you can find it on a street style blog!

The Elie Saab show was beautiful! The dresses are so much more prettier in action than on the photos. The materials are just floating with the body who wears it. The colours were inspired by the desert from the blue sky to the sparkly sand in the night. The music was house music and the runway was very simple: black sparkly "sand". On the front row Dita von Teese and Nelly Furtado watched the show and the back row I did! The only bad thing I can tell about the show is that is was really inspired by Balmain, but well, you can´t win them all. If I went to the Oscars I would wear one of Elie Saabs dresses!

The Hermés show was really, really well produced! There was grass everywhere and you could really smell it! So nice! The music was a mix of new hits and the comments and sounds from a tennis match. 2 of the models started playing tennis in the background and followed Jean Paul Gaultier when he got his applaud after the show. The collection was really good! The colours where very light with a bit of dark blue, black and brown. It was very inspired of tennis and the fabrics where a mix of light silk, cotton and soft lether. I really liked the bags they were really big, so some of the models dropped them on the runway.
